The clinic Dit Alternativ was founded in 1990, giving me more than 35 years of experience as an acupuncturist and reflexologist.
My name is Christian Slot. I am trained as both an acupuncturist and reflexologist, registered as a RAB (Registered Alternative Practitioner) within both fields, and also registered as a needle acupuncturist with the Danish Patient Safety Authority.
Throughout my professional life, I have continuously furthered my education through courses and training with some of the most skilled practitioners in Denmark and internationally.
When you visit my clinic, you will often experience a combination of acupuncture and reflexology. The two treatment forms complement each other exceptionally well and are based on many of the same underlying principles.
My focus is not only on the symptom itself, but on the person as a whole.
In the clinic, I work with people experiencing a wide range of conditions — including lower back pain, hip, shoulder and neck pain, migraines, menstrual problems, fertility challenges, digestive issues, stress, inner restlessness, and much more.
In 1995, I founded the Reflexology School Dit Alternativ, which today is considered one of the leading reflexology schools in Denmark.
In 2019, I chose to hand the school over to new management in order to focus fully on postgraduate training for reflexologists and on professional development. At the same time, this marked the beginning of the Institute of Muscular Reflexology
Over the years, the desire to further develop and deepen the profession has led to the creation of several advanced training courses, as well as the publication of professional books on reflexology, muscles, and Chinese medicine.
My teaching has also taken me to several countries — including Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, and England.
