HEALING

Healing can perhaps be more difficult to understand and for some, also more difficult to believe in than many of the other treatment methods, which is unfortunate because at times, it may offer support where other approaches have not been able to help.

Many people choose healing either as a “last resort,” after trying many other options, from a spiritual perspective, or simply as a way of moving forward when they feel stuck physically, emotionally, or mentally.

There are many different ways of practicing healing. Most healers, however, agree that healing involves the transfer or balancing of energy. Some experience the energy as coming through the healer, while others describe themselves more as a channel for the energy.

Although healing can be practiced in different ways, the overall purpose remains the same: to support the process of healing and wholeness.

The word healing literally means “to make whole.”
