ACUPUNCTURE
Through a thorough consultation and examination, an individual treatment plan is created.
The acupuncture needles are then placed according to your specific condition and overall balance. Some points have very precise functions, while others are combined to support the body’s natural ability to restore balance and harmony.
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture has the unique ability to work on several levels simultaneously — physical, emotional, and mental — placing the whole person at the center of the treatment.
There are also other acupuncture techniques and approaches, including auricular acupuncture (ear acupuncture).
Auricular acupuncture uses points located in the ears, which are seen as a microsystem reflecting the entire body. This makes it possible to support and strengthen the main acupuncture treatment through carefully selected ear points.
Within auricular acupuncture there are also different systems and understandings, including the French method known as Posturology. This approach focuses on how dysfunctions in one area of the body may influence other areas — for example, jaw tension contributing to shoulder pain or postural imbalance.
The WHO – World Health Organization – has published a list of conditions for which acupuncture may be beneficial. In addition, I frequently work with fertility-related issues and with supportive treatment for side effects related to chemotherapy.
